A week ago I went down to the Northern end of the bridge to see how they would react to my Quest velomobile (still technically a bike- well sort-of) The security staff were very polite and organised a small truck to take me and it over the bridge! (No charge) I then rode along the A road on the south side and returned via the Woolwich ferry. There was a huge queue there but I was allowed to bypass that as they had room for my (2.6m long) machine but no space for any more cars! An interesting ride- thanks for the inspiration.GroundFlyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10841576184699451084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8570734860219292199.post-3940695977621433432012-09-29T18:55:33.054+01:002012-09-29T18:55:33.054+01:00I ride a Quest velomobile which is technically a b...I ride a Quest velomobile which is technically a bike or trike although it doesn't look much like one! What would be the reaction of the Dartford staff if I turn up wanting a crossing? It definitely won't hang on a bike rack like the one in your photo!GroundFlyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10841576184699451084noreply@blogger.com
