It's well worth popping in to Mersea Island's own vineyard (http://www.merseawine.com/) for some local wine to go with the delicious West Mersea shellfish.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8570734860219292199.post-68243035748010149082010-08-19T12:58:36.441+01:002010-08-19T12:58:36.441+01:00@Dave... it only means that Colchester isn’t much ...@Dave... it only means that Colchester isn’t much like Copenhagen! Not much in the way of cycle expressways plied with people on sit-up-and-begs, or pastries.

Also, whereas Copenhagen station is slap bang in the middle of town by the Tivoli Gardens, Colchester station is out beyond the ring road.

@Anonymous... yes, come to think of it we cycled on road from Brightlingsea to Wivenhoe; the riverside bit started from there.Rob Ainsleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15545429147297468874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8570734860219292199.post-43631596759558486742010-08-19T11:41:26.147+01:002010-08-19T11:41:26.147+01:00Nice one. However, please press for this route to be improved, as it's brilliant. W'hoe schoolkids also need a safe route to B'sea senior school.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8570734860219292199.post-4360740852429311902010-08-19T11:01:15.300+01:002010-08-19T11:01:15.300+01:00Hang on a mo, mostly liked this up to the bit '...Hang on a mo, mostly liked this up to the bit 'Then you get to Colchester' what does that mean ????????
Dave Mersea Road Colchester.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01897864771523750778noreply@blogger.com
